Prosthetic smartphone arm
|
Born without a left arm, Trevor Prideaux had a difficult time operating a smartphone. Not wanting to sacrifice the fun of fiddling with mobile gadgets, he teamed up with Nokia and the Exeter Mobility Centre to create a prosthetic arm with an embedded smartphone.
The smartphone arm allows Prideaux to easily operate his Nokia C7 phone without worrying about dropping it or finding a flat surface to place it on.
“I can now take calls and make texts just by using my one hand, while the phone sits inside my arm,” he told the Telegraph.
