Considering The Empire Strikes Back was released in 1980, it’s pretty surprising no one thought of combining the iconic VW bus with an AT-AT before this (or perhaps they just did it before the Internet could make them immortal), but this gem of a mechanical mashup was spotted by tech journalist Jack Schofield, though no attribution can yet be made to the originator of such a smashing piece of pop culture art. Can you imagine the Stormtroopers burnt out from working for The Empire slapping a few flower power stickers on their helmets? You can almost smell the incense wafting out of this thing.
