The skinny on Apple's new CEO

Unless you've lived in a cave... on Mars... with your fingers in your ears... you've probably heard that Steve Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO. The new guy, Tim Cook, was Apple's formed COO. But who is this man? What should we know about him? This Business Insider article gives us the scoop. Here's a sampling:
Cook has already kind-of run Apple for a long time. He's not the visionary- that's Steve Jobs. But Cook has overseen day-to-day operations. That's not going to change.
Cook knows what "Apple" means better than pretty much anyone but Steve Jobs. He's been around since 1998 and he really understands what the Apple mission is all about.
