1995 MTV News report on the Internet [video]

In 1995, MTV News anchor Kurt Loder reported on "a worldwide computer network called the Internet" that boasted ten million users and featured “a proliferation of special interest truck stops called websites.” Loder goes on to compare Hollywood’s interest in cyberspace to the CB Radio boom of the 1970s as the camera flashes stock footage of Netscape and chat rooms. Ah, the good old days when politicians tried to regulate internet porn instead of posting it themselves--memmmoooriies.
