| | --- Reply above this line to comment on this post --- Despite appearances, artist Carrie Schneider wasn’t alerted to her subject matter via police scanner, but painstakingly constructed a series of 8’x6’ houses to burn on a small lake island in Wisconsin so as to capture the Burning House in a wide variety of seasons and conditions.
